“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” Matthew 7:13

When we chose to follow Christ, we were given the Holy Spirit to help us, teach us, guide us and protect us. But, even with the presence of the Holy Spirit, it isn’t always easy to live for God. That’s OK because something that is worthwhile is never easy. Some people will choose the easy way through life. They think that the wide path looks like the best way because it seems to have fewer rules and gives more control over your own life. However, the narrow way is the one that leads to God and actually offers more freedom because you have God’s protection and wisdom. It keeps you focused on loving and obeying God as you love and serve others.
