“Be silent, all people, before the Lord; for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.” Zechariah 2:13

As we begin to prepare for the season of advent. O.K. at least we are starting to think about it. Zechariah reminds us to take the time to be silent before the Lord. We sometimes make new year's resolutions to take the time to work out. But we also need to take the time to work out with Christ. Take the time to sit with the Bible, meditate on His word and be silent to hear what He has to say. Believe me it is easier to write or speak than to do. His holy dwelling resides in you. He has roused himself from his Holy dwelling to become active, to do good works. Allow the time to be silent to hear the good works He is asking you to do.
