“Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you!”
TPT: The Passion Translation Colossians 3:15-17

As we start what I call our busy season for church I have to say how blessed I am to be part of a church family that never ceases to amaze me. The little things that mean so much; There are always beautiful flowers for the altar. The outside entrance is decorated with the seasons and a welcoming appeal. The church, bathroom, narthex, kitchen and fellowship areas are cleaned and ready for Sunday morning. The garden is weeded and blooming with the Holy Spirit. Sunday School is gaining speed. Youth Sunday and the music that is offered. The bulletin is completed each week, folded and placed out on the table. Holy Communion Sunday is set and ready for all to eat. Not to mention the organization of the calendar which is filling up fast. I am beyond grateful for all of your silent souls that allow your activity to be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, which springs forth joy of what Christ has done for you and you reflecting that joy back to us. Thank you!!!!

Lifetime Opportunity

I am so excited about a lifetime opportunity that has been presented to me through school at Luther Seminary. I along with 29 other students will be going on a Holy Tour January 28 through February 8, 2024. I had to pay the first $500.00, then Luther Seminary paid $2,000 and I have to ask for donations or fundraise for the other $2,000.

There is a Holy Cow on the table in the Narthex, by the kitchen, which is one place you can drop any donation you would like. The other will be two Sundays; Oct 8th and 15th. I will be having breakfast after church. This will be a free will offering as another means to try and raise the other $2000.00.

I greatly appreciate your thought and consideration as I move toward this journey of a lifetime.

Peace,
SAM Wendy
