“Then his eyes were opened so that he could
see again. He saw everything.”
– Mark 8:25b
Excitement fills you as you walk shakily through the doors to a new opportunity.
Opportunity of what, one might ask. I respond with “Opportunity to see through different lenses. Sort of like a kaleidoscope.
Each movement can bring a different shape, design, and look.
Some days, I am afraid to bring in movement, overwhelmed by the sights/learnings I have already taken in.
Yet the sun shines, and so do the vibrant colors to bring life to the shapes and designs that fall into place as I move throughout this journey.
When clouds do appear, there are no longer vibrant colors but shaded greys and blacks that bring out distinctive features that could not be seen prior or perhaps missed due to the bright lens I was looking through.
With the chilly temps, it's tempting to stand still, as if frozen. That all things are ok as the lens becomes frosted and the shapes don’t seem to move fluidly, but rather with robotic movement.
A reminder that each movement does bring a different shape, design, and look as the world changes around you, which I can not change, but I can make a movement that changes one person’s world.
Peace,
